Spring 2023 Fashion: Purse Edition

Although we still have snow on the ground, I am bound and determined that spring is right around the corner! I have been shopping for some fun pops of color to add to my more neutral wardrobe.

I should explain that in the past I wore a lot of bright color and fun patterns. When we moved from our house in town out to our current farm place I went from an extremely large closet, to sharing a closet with Anthony. Needless to say I had to get rid of a large amount of my clothes, so I kept mostly neutral items that can be mixed and matched together. Since this is the case I have been adding in pops of color in my accessories and nails!

What’s in my cart?

I haven’t made any final decisions on my purses yet, but I want to share what is in my cart. A few of these have coupons that you can clip to save some money (I’m all about saving money).

This Emerald green tote is such a beautiful color. Although it is not quite the pastel you think of when you think of spring, it is the perfect size and color to carry you through the rest of the year. I feel like emerald is such a timeless jewel-tone color.

Lately I’ve really liked any tone of green to remind me of life and growth. My plants (even the fake ones) keep me in a cheery mood amongst the very dreary and cloudy weather we’ve been recently having.

Crossbody purses have been on the top of my lists lately. They are easier to throw over your head while also throwing on a diaper bag. This light blue crossbody not only adds a little pastel pop of color, but the gold accents add in an elegant element to the mix.

I really like the idea of this purse to add into my wardrobe for Easter and church. It’s such a nice pop of color! This purse comes in a lot of color options.

The envelope wallet/crossbody bag is one of my favorite bags designed. I think it is such a creative way to style a clutch. I really like this lavender envelope style crossbody. The straps are removable so you have the option of carrying the clutch or having a strap to throw the purse over your shoulder.

This color is definitely what I think of when I think of spring! I think this one is a top contender for ending up in my wardrobe rotation. Purple has been one of my favorite colors since I was a little girl. The plus side, purple is also one of Cassidy’s favorite colors and I know she would be stealing this for a play purse as well.

Rose gold is such a timeless color option. Winter, spring, summer, or fall you really can’t go wrong with this purse. I like how it folds over to protect the contents and has a little pad on the shoulder so the chain doesn’t dig in.

I really like this purse for the professionalism, as well as being able to carry it around casually. It also seems big enough to put a small package of wipes and one diaper (pull-up) for each kid. That is also one thing I have been looking for in a crossbody.

Straw handbags are in for another spring/summer season! At first I DID NOT like this trend, but it actually has grown on me. It really adds an element of texture to your outfit.

So, which on is your favorite?! Which one should I add to my wardrobe?
