Give Me S’more Pizza!

What is better than pizza or s’mores? How about a s’mores pizza?!

You guys asked for recipe posts, and we delivered big time on this one! Making this dessert was one of the most fun baking experiments I’ve done in a long time. I mean LOOK at this masterpiece!

Gathering ingredients is the hardest part for me. Outside of work, I tend to keep things little scattered and disorganized so sometimes it’s hard for me to get them altogether at one time. This recipe though, I was golden! Getting everything in one place has never been easier for me, haha!! The ingredients include:

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • chocolate sauce for serving

The instructions I ended up changing a little bit. The original recipe was great, but I didn’t feel there was enough marshmallows or chocolate chips involved. So of course, I added WAY more.

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350F degrees. Grease a round pizza pan with nonstick cooking spray or oil.

2. In a medium bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs, flour, baking soda and salt.

3. In a large bowl, beat butter, sugar and brown sugar until smooth. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Then mix in dry ingredients until combined.

4. Roll out dough onto prepared pan. Bake 12-15 minutes. Remove from oven.

5. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and then add mini marshmallows. Bake 3 more minutes until golden.

6. Sprinkle optional crumbs and drizzle chocolate sauce on top. Serve and enjoy!

I had to bake the marshmallows a little longer to get that “golden” look that I really wanted. My suggestion is to bake the original crust a little less time if you’d like to take more time to bake the mallows.

I decided to cut it like a pizza, which made HUGE portions! I would suggest more of a “square” cut on the pizza pan. More pieces to share with your friends, but if you don’t want to share, more power to ya! This is a delicious recipe!!

What did you like best about this recipe? Did something work better for you than what was suggested above? Leave me some comments!
