There are so many things that I have wanted to do and get done in my very short life so far. I have started as (and remain) a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant. I love beauty, skincare and learning everything about that industry.
I also love fashion, creativity, and travel. I have a huge passion for agriculture and education on how we get food from the farm to your fork. This blog, Even in the Midwest, is my space to combine all of these things! Some days I am heavy on the farm, especially during planting and harvest time. Other days I am immersed in my beauty and skincare business, while others I am trying to find the perfect outfit and create idea boards.

My History
I grew up outside of a small town in South Dakota. I spent my summers working outside on our acreage throwing square bales of our own and for local neighbors.
I went to the University of South Dakota for Communication Studies and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree. I followed that education with an Associates degree in Marketing from Southeast Technical Institute. I started dating my husband the summer of 2013 and we were married in November of 2016.
Anthony and I have two beautiful children together, Cassidy and Neal, and live on our dream farm place. It’s been hard work and taken a lot of patience to get where we are, but I am so thrilled that we get to build a life for our children in a rural area.
I am so excited to share my little corner of the internet with you and I hope to get to know you better! I am here to serve in whatever way I can, whether that be through beauty, fashion, or agriculture education. Maybe I can serve you by providing a new recipe for your family to try- whatever it is, I can’t wait!
